Printing Press Operation: 15 years of hands-on experience operating production printing presses. Offset press & relief printing press operation, spot-colour mixing, four-colour process, foil stamping, embossing, die-cutting, folding, finishing, and bindery operations. Highly skilled in the craft and precision of traditional letterpress printing at high volume. (Heidelberg, Kluge, Yawa, Bobst, Thermotype, Baum, Komori, Rollem, Brausse, Polar Mohr).
Production Design: Extensive experience in prepress and production-ready artwork. Advanced knowledge of colour management, and pixel-perfect proofing, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex color challenges using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Careful typesetter. Currently expanding workflows by integrating Figma into print-production processes. Adept at set-up for multi-colour work, spot-colour touch plates, tonal printing, overprinting, bindery, data merge, and specialty embellishments.
Structural Packaging Design: Specialized in luxury packaging design, including folding cartons, boxes, custom enclosures, and rigid setup boxes. Adept at translating concepts into functional, production-ready structures with a strong understanding of steel-rule die cutting and the requirements of high-volume manufacturing. Highly experienced with scoring, embossing, debossing, folding, gluing, laminates and print finishing.
Materials & Substrate Development: Deep knowledge of packaging materials, papers, paperboard, corrugate, polypropylene plastics, and specialty substrates. Able to navigating global compliance standards, transport packaging considerations, and quality assurance throughout production lifecycle. Procurement experience in understanding third party logicstics, shipping/recieving, budgets & fair value in trade.
